This time at Church we are honoring an Interfaith Spirituality Studies class from Elon University in Elon N. Carolina. They are coming on their spring break to attend Church With A 2 Drink Minimum, after they were told about it by their professor. I’d like to make a call out to all of my NYC friends to make a special effort to come and meet these students who are staying after the program to have an informal discussion with us about LGBTQAI Spirituality. We would love to have many different LGBTQAI folks as well as allies come and join in the music, sing a long, and discussion. We will also be featuring the AIDS Walk work of Candy Samples Drag Superstar, who along with Jesse EA Pasackow raise thousands of dollars each year for AIDS Walk. A special shout out to all of my Interfaith Revs out there to come join us. All those I went to One Spirit Seminary with, please consider coming and showing support for our new friends in N. Carolina. If you’ve never been to Church With A 2 Drink Minimum-this would be an excellent time to come. More info, and video of our Church at www.yolanda.net/church
