Robin’s Nest to support helpusadopt.org is thrilled to return to the Laurie Beechman Theatre on May 7th at 1pm with a stellar cast. This tenth edition of Robin’s Nest stars Broadway’s MANDY GONZALEZ (HAMILTON, WICKED, IN THE HEIGHTS). Mandy is known for her current role as “Angelica Schuyler” in HAMILTON, for playing “Elphaba” in WICKED, and for creating the role of “Nina Rosario” in IN THE HEIGHTS. Joining Mandy in this edition of Robin’s Nest are JOSHUA LANCE DIXON (Bistro Award, Broadway World Cabaret Award, winner of Mama’s Next BIG Act), singer/songwriter BEAU HOWARD, JOHN KOPROWSKI (Treasurer of the Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs), WENDY SCHERL (Metrostar finalist), and DON SCIMÉ (producer, writer and star of the multi award winning film THE DAVID DANCE). HelpUsAdopt.org, founded in 2007, is a unique, national 501c3 grant program which helps families complete their adoptions, a process that’s often financially draining for many. HelpUsAdopt.org supports all types of families (married couples, single parent and LGBT families), all types of adoptions (domestic, international, foster care), and all religions, without requiring a statement of faith. There is never a charge for applicants to apply. Helpusadopt awards grants of up to $15,000, making it possible for families to complete the adoption process and bring children home to a loving family.
