Peter Schlosser, Director“A beloved, latter-day vaudevillian…an engagingly mischievous dispenser of musical repartee”
Stephen Holden, The New York Times“What’s so special about Sidney? He’s a cross between Noel Coward and Fannie Brice with a blend of sophistication and style, sentiment and kitsch which have you roaring with laughter one moment and wiping away tears a few seconds later. There ain’t nobody else quite like him. He’s really one of a kind!”
Myra Chanin, The Huffington Post“There’s nothing provisional about a Sidney Myer performance. He’s disarming, funny, preposterous, touching and utterly unique. Those of you lucky enough to have seen this show will undoubtedly never forget it.”
Alix Cohen, Broadway WorldTWEED TheaterWorks (EST 1983), Kevin Malony Artistic director, has been partnering with Pangea for the past three years to present a stellar performance series on Sundays (and some others days!) that combines the best of the “old school’ and the “up & coming” musical, performance, and theater artists that NYC has to offer. www.tweedtheater.org
